I've just read my little blurb under the sub-title "It's all about...." and realised that I haven't mentioned the achievements of the largest trouser-wearer in this house.
The weekend in Noosa, which you may care to read more about below, had Mikey ride the "Century"; 160km loop around the picturesque and undulating Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
And he trounced it. After hooning home in 5 hours 20 minutes, hoovering down several days worth of food, the amazing Streety joined me in wrangling the boys at the beach for an afternoon of kite-flying and nudey-swimming in the storm water drain (why is it that you take your children to the most beautiful beach, and they're not too keen on the water, but see a pool of water of dubious quality, and they're in like Flynn?).
What a man.
