Just a little bit of EB

I succumbed to popular culture, bought a bag of little eggs, and upon hearing Mikko start his chirpy (well that's a euphimism if ever I heard one!) morning greeting from his cotty bed, raced out the front to 'hide' 10 little eggs. After collecting the Mik, and he collecting a handful of my hair, I glanced out the front door to see Ruby, the neighbour's 6-month old jet black cocker spaniel puppy, lying on the grass munching on something and looking quite pleased. Was this a sign? I mused to myself as I called out to my neighbour that Ruby had indeed eaten some eggs. Stick to your laurels, the right way is usually the hard way, this blasted Easter thing has gotten off to a rotten start! (not for Ruby though). But then the boys descended, in their pyjamas and looking so cute, searching for the remaining eggs - Magnus with his little basket made from an egg carton and Mikko shoving each egg he lay his dexterous little hand on, foil and all, into his mouth - and I thought "all is not bad with the world" and managed to finish the little festivity without mentioning the EB.

And, as inquisitive as I like to think my boys are, they didn't ask.
